Thread regarding Avaya layoffs

Dear KK

Dear KK

Thank you for steering this ship called Avaya and your leadership over the years.

You took reins at a time when the industry had consolidated and you did well. Now the industry in which Avaya operates is going through another transformation that is rough and add to it are the debt woes that you did not create.

You are remembered as a benevolent leader, that's the legacy we want to remember you for.

Please move on KK, there are families and livelihoods at stake and even if it's not your fault, we don't think you should live with the reputation of a killer of jobs for the rest of your life. 10000 employees, so many customers and our many suppliers wish to see this happen, there must be change and you can bring that change.

The change must happen on an urgent basis. It must start from the people around you KK. They are good people, but the motivation to transform along with the market, needs dynamism and a sense of belonging to a company and its customers. This will not come from leaders who are anxiously looking ahead to retirement.

Kevin, we love you, love us back and let the next generation take over this glorious company you built.

I was a KK fan but he established a culture of fear with his cabinet. He would intellectually browbeat if they disagreed with them so they either quit or shut up. The good ones leave.

Yes, leave us alone and move on KK. This company needs a sales person not an engineer with old technology. Time to retire, and save Avayans.

I am NOT a KK lover in any way, shape or form. He and his minions are mindless automatons with nothing on their minds but their own paychecks, thinking the world revolves around NPS and EBITA. Layoffs continually focus on core and supporting workforce instead of coordinating type roles. KK should have been gone a LONG time ago.
