This helps if there was a 2nd bidder who may now look at the 2nd choice of networking groups for sale. The key thing to understand here is Arris was after the Brocade WiFi products (Ruckus) and Avaya doesnt have its own WiFi (it rebadges Xirrus). Apparently there have been some bids for Avaya Networking but they are very low, a fraction of what Arris paid.
