Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

AMD stock crossed $14/share

A few months ago, when none of you Intel cheerleaders believed that Ryzen was the real deal

You kept your money locked up in a $36/share Intel stock when AMD was around $6.... You thought AMD was all smoke and mirrors and had already had its run from $2.50....

Intel stock is still stuck at $36 going nowhere.

Prior to that, you didn't take ARM seriously and saw ARM get acquired by Softbank for $98+/share. You excused windows +ARM wasn't going to happen...AnD here we are with Qualcomm's latest snapdragon running Windows 10 with x86 emulation.

Same sort of arrogance at Intel that continues to boggle down intel.

Make all the jokes about mcgriddles you want. The joke really is Intel's lack of growth. Terrible stock, terrible performance.

ARM and AMD is exactly the sort of kicking Intel in the nuts that is long overdue before Intel can run more efficiently. Way too much overhead, and definitely needs much more layoffs , especially all the ones that aren't even engineers.

Intel sinkin', AMD Ryzen! had you purchased 10k shares of AMD stock when it was $1/share about a year ago, you'd be sitting on $140K today.

......That and these days , AMD hires engineers that can actually design hardware and software...

Intel these days appear to hire people to filll underrepresented minorities that have no relevant technical ability.

Afterall, the AMD CEO, being a woman, has proven technical ability is gender and race agnostic...Something Intel HR doesn't get. In fact, conservative Intel workers that keep complaining about liberals, I find funny...Why are they still working at Intel instead of AMD?

Well that, and Intel is filled with lab technicians from DeVry and ITT that think they are real engineers. Lots of overhead.

Race isn't as important as intelligence. AMD has a CEO with PhD lineage for MIT

Intel proudly looks to hire PhDs but is lead by someone from San Jose State. Any wonder why little intelligence immenients from the corner cube?

Intel already has dominate market share of a contracting market. Has incredibly high RD cost and truly expensive factories. 14nm cost structure is higher than 22nm which was higher than 32nm and 10nm is so high that it will break TMG. No new compelling products for the last three years as it is still 14nm due to big 10nm problems

AMD had had no products and now has a competitive product and not fab to drag it down. It only needs to take a few percentage of MS to grow revenue and profits like crazy.

Intel on the other hand has to layoff to hit profit targets

S---s to be intel

Wake up Bruh, wake up! The drive-thru is backed up. "Real engineers" don't troll 24/7 posting lies and BS due to a lack of competence the way you do rice patty engineer.

Intel arrogance example.....

Lab technician thinks he's so smart....This is despite having not even being a real engineer. Makes mcgriddle jokes, despite lab technicians not really that much better than burger flippers. Denies benchmark data, denies real supply data on AMD processor launch, loves the POTUS but doesn't invest. Thinks the world is a zero sum game in that the only way he gets ahead is if others lose. Hates H1B because he thinks he is a real engineer after taking a few courses from DeVry or ITT or Coleman College. Hates how some immigrants are more qualified than he is. Take away immigrants and H1B, he still won't get out of his pigeon hole role as a lab rat technician. And his butt will be still sore from having limited opportunities with anet worth that hasn't improved
