Current status of W2 class action lawsuit?

Anyone have a status update on the W2 class action lawsuit filed last year? I filed my tax return (correction: TRIED to file), only to have it immediately rejected because someone had already filed using my SSN this year. Thanks again Seagate.

Any info you kind folks can provide will be most appreciated. My Google searches aren't giving me anything new since Sept 2016.

Also: Do any current employees have info from recent updates from HR, including extending the insultingly low 2 years of identity theft protection?

Not dismissed. Latest update says they are working toward a settlement.

2 years if ID theft, which is useless at helping with the tax filings. thanks, seagate. FWIW current employees have no new info, and are running into the same SSN compromises.

Suit was dismissed. In other word, even though this feels and is inconvenient for you and countless other Seagate employees, your employer doesn't feel they should be burdened with your troubles. You are a worker bee. Produce honey for the execs. Complaining is not allowed.
