Singapore office just had a party for all their staff at a 5 star hotel. Good food and alcohol for all! If your offices are not doing the same then be prepared. Seems Pune office is not safe as alot of complaints coming out of there, cuts might be coming.

Correct. Useless employees with high salary producing nothing else than b---s---s.
Singapore, Hong Kong locations are full of highly paid useless tenured employee.. Same is the case with ANZ.All should be laid off effective immediately...This is the right time to get rid of them.
Remove them all, they all burden on this co.
A lot of the QA has already moved to Vietnam from Pune and the rest are on its way. Every dev team has a parent team in US or Ireland. So practically the Pune dev teams could be downsized too if the work can be efficienctly handled by Russia.
Why keep so costly and useless location?
One of the key aspects here is that the Singapore office is a profit center while the Pune office is a cost center. Management will always be looking out for options to reduce cost in a cost center. For example, it will not be too difficult to move the Pune cost center to Russian and Vietnamese outsourcers. In fact, there is a common belief among upper management that the Russian outsourcers are more productive than the Indian engineers. However, an office in Singapore will always be needed to keep the cash flow from APAC banks.
