Any idea when cuts will be over for a while? It seems the company will need to let their employees relax and be comfortable with knowledge they will have their job for a bit so the teams can get to work and not worry about the need to job search.

Dell will keep the uncertainty going and the looming payouts in August for many when they go to a 50/50 plan but are paid only on a very small product set is part of that. They want to force stress so people leave both on the Dell side and EMC. Saves MD $$ to pay for his lavish lifestyle and those householders that hang on but present zero real value as their talents are as dated as Dells sales models. They want people to leave and leave in droves. Doesn't matter if your good, bad or mediocre its about bodies. If your over 45, higher paid you will be gone Dell will higher someone from a reseller to take your place or move inside people outside where the pay looks better (they don't know Dell pays crappy compared to most high tech). Cutting cost. Just looking its only a matter of time. Numbers we were told is a target DellEMC work force of 90-110 thousand down from 140.
More cuts February 8th in sales - confirmed
There is no such thing as Relax at Dell. Suggest do not get too comfortable. There is no such thing as future of employees.
There will be more cuts coming on Wednesday, February 8th.
Dell needs their Slave Labor just as much as the next cotton t-shirt manufacturer. Beatings will continue until morale improves.
