They keep preaching integrity and honesty, making us take classes on it, when they don't understand the meaning of those words. Lies and deceit is all they really do. They rob hard working people out of their jobs because they are bleeding subscribers but instead of fixing the problem with better service or pricing, which they can absolutely afford, COUGH paying $135 BILLION in the same year for 2 juggernaut companies COUGH, it's much easier to cut down costs by kicking family to the curb.
AT&T, as a customer and a former employee, is a horribly run company. Middle management brown noses looking up and craps on everyone below them. Some have tyrannical tendencies while others have absolutely no clue what they are doing. They don't promote smart self thinking people, they promote those who are easily manipulated, cannot think for themselves, and have no spines. Easy to make them into drones playing telephone with their employees with upper management's message.
1 on 1's? "Hi yes, what have you done to make me look good?" is the general gist of it. No coaching, unrealistic quotas and goals, they set you up to fail.
AT&T doesn't give a rat's assss about it's employees, though they claim they are a family. Everyone is just a number and regardless of performance, you can get let go annually. Reorganizations, surpluses, whatever they want to call it.
DO NOT WORK FOR THEM. THE AMOUNT OF BS IS OFF THE CHARTS. SAVE YOURSELF THE ANGUISH.
