RIF?

Does anyone have any idea when the next round of RIFs will be or furlough? Just playing the waiting game-

Next RIF and possible furloughs in March 2017. Severance now limited to 13 weeks maximum. As Cote and Darius have been saying for years, Honeywell is now a software (more like no-ware) company outsourced to the third world. Anything to punish the workers so that bs numbers can be paraded in front of Wall Street and management can extract every ounce of blood from the stone through the workers' hides. Worst run company ever. Employees have to scavenge IT equipment to do their jobs and vendors are paid "net -whenever Honeywell gets around to it".

Honeywell doesn't have staff to meet current commitments. Expect hiring q2 especially in information systems, data analytics, and other software skills. Leave now if you are a hardware designer.. everything will be slowly outsourced. Manufacturing should hang on for a package or rebadge... which has been a good deal for most so far. All US employees should be learning a new skill that is marketable.

Wait until MIP's and raises are completed, you'll see so many good long time employees exit the bldg. I know of 3 just in my small area. They don't want to leave money they earned last year out there. Most were denied the VRIF so they will leave after reviews.

Well people are leaving every day, so I don't think a RIF will be necessary, people are fleeing

Isn't that the basic definition of working for Honeywell? Oh, and for the next employee benefit cuts too.
