Hearing rumblings that the layoffs started today...any details?

For those of you who will still stick with Staples, all I can say is why why why???? This should be a clear-cut sign, get the hell out. The company is during, they cannot compete with Amazon. They can try all they want it's not going to happen we all know this. Amazon outsmart them in every category, it's not even a competition. It's like watching the Golden State Warriors vs Los Angeles Clippers...The Warriors own there a$$...start building a career for yourself, if you seriously think Staples is it. You really do need a lot of help...I saw the nail on the coffin after only six months, I couldn't believe how poorly that business was run. A year ago I was at A staple store working in California making all of $12 an hour. Now I'm working at an amazing company starting me off at 37 bucks an hour. You guys owe it to yourselves get the hell out of there.

I was let go on Wednesday afternoon. Outside sales-Print and Marketing Account Consultant. Was hired a the end of October '16.
I was also laid off in California. I was a manager hired from Office Depot because of the so called acquisition. Biggest mistake in my life coming to work for Staples. I have never seen such a disorganized company. So called leaders are a joke. They make changes to changes to make it seem as if they are important. I'm a little disgruntled as you can tell. Hopefully I will find employment that has meaning.
