They isp-ed a few PEs and SPEs in my group (part of PEG). So yeah.

I heard that ACT 2016 caused quite a brain drain in some groups due to the PEs all being in ERP territory and several of them taking it. Not sure how many were ISPs first. A couple of layoff cycles ago (stealth ACT, I think), I know we lost Fellows including the only female technical fellow we had at the time.
@L9IFc4g-mqu OP here, not going after the PEs, just wanted to know what prospects PE track has to offer if you do stay at Intel. By the looks of it, it does seem rather bleak.
Rumor has it that at least 20-30 PEs and Sr PEs were ISP/ERPd in PEG alone this last 2016 ACT.
yes... typically PE's have enough age/time to qualify for retirements (rule of 75, etc) so their ISP's were converted to ERP's... I know a few that were ERPed with no notice on ISP day.
Yes, at least a few.
I hope OP isn't going after PE's, they're doing a good job overall. I'd focus more on VP's, who sit in meetings all day, contribute less, and outnumber PE's by 4:1
@L9IFc4g-irx looking for the ones, ISPed
Do you only mean ISPed, OP? Or any of the 3 actions (ISP/VSP/ERP)? Fellows ERPed. I know, they aren't PE's but thought I'd throw that out.
No PE were affected by ACT.
