Hi im new to intel & this board, can people explain what those acronyms stand for, and what they mean in detail especially in regard to layoff? Thanks.

@hzh must have run out of old white guys, how sad.
OWGs? Really? I am a FLM, and in my team, a promising young woman was let go (couldn't give her higher SSL and Ratings due to budget restrictions). The idea that only deadwood or OWG was affeted is a legend.

You actually joined Intel? Why? Nobody else was hiring in your area? Or nobody else gave you an offer?
And yes, I mean it as a serious question, because if someone joins a company that just layed off 12000 people, that's a bit of a headscratcher to me.
