Really, I am not aware of any CDW layoffs since 2009 (about 200 people in Vernon Hills as far as I remember) when we had a big hit during the big downturn in the economy - I have left about six months ago and things might have changed at CDW but I seriously doubt it.
My short stint (2 years) at CDW was fairly good - I was paid well and treated well. I had very awkward work hours and the mgmt did very little to help whit that, there is a business reason for this so I knew I would not be able to talk them into changing my work schedule and I left.
Again, not sure about job cuts, I hope all is good but if you are having job cuts at CDW good luck to all of you.
