Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Dear Tech Immigrant Workers In the U.S.... You aren't welcome in the U.S. anymore, come join us....

...and help us put more U.S. companies out of business, on the global economy, where the U.S. is not the only customer....

Why work for a declining company like Cisco Systems and Intel, going through months and months of layoff, subjecting yourself to the scrutiny of terrible American management, terrible American politics, and terrible American work ethics...when you can join a winning team like Huawei, which is pretty much kicking Cisco System's arse in the global economy.

Why be part of American industries that will quickly declines into the same shetty American auto industry, when an entire generation of tech advances comes to a halt when the best of the best from outside of the U.S. stop coming to the U.S.? Wouldn't you rather be at the forefront of the next generation of tech opportunity, regardless of where it is? How many times have you, as an immigrant been denied a promotion because of racism, and the incompetency of American company (mis) management. Why do you continue to subject yourself to terrible american management , terrible work ethics, and terrible american politics.

The choice is pretty obvious.

Sincerely,

People's Republic of China.

China’s Happy to Take U.S. Tech Immigrants That Trump Blocks

*Silicon Valley’s foreign contingent needn’t consider Canada. If President-elect Donald Trump makes good on campaign promises to bar foreign talent, China will welcome them with open arms.

Robin Li, the billionaire chief executive of China’s largest search engine Baidu Inc., may have voiced the sentiments of many of his compatriots on Friday. He hopes that some of the tens of thousands of highly-skilled, overseas-born workers now plying their trade in the Valley will instead consider a career in the world’s second largest economy.*

“I read that an advisor to President-elect Donald Trump complained that three-quarters of engineers in Silicon Valley aren’t Americans,” Li told the World Internet Conference in the historic town of Wuzhen. “So I myself hope that many of these engineers will come to China to work for us.”

Li’s reckoning isn’t far off the mark: in the two Silicon Valley counties of Santa Clara and San Mateo -- home to Intel Corp. and Nvidia Corp. -- about two-thirds of people working in computing and mathematics fields are foreign-born, according to a study by research firm Joint Venture Silicon Valley using 2014 U.S. government data.

Largest market is China!

Largest growing economy is China!

All your iPhones and most everything else, made in China!

Go east you man if you seek a future with wealth.

Intel and the rest are all sliding to oblivion, sorry but you can change the power of big numbers from Chinese population, middle class, and lastly how many ARM chips are sold compared to x86.

The clown try's AI now, what a crock 😂

The writing is on the wall. While the west, specifically U.S., gets embroiled into internal conflicts between the white nationalists and anyone else that isn't white, U.S. companies will slip further and further behind on the global front....

Abandon ship....This is what American Populism wants. An america that fails and falls apart when people that lack the ability and knowledge run things they know absolutely nothing about. Just like how many U.S. companies are run!

While there are cracks in the walls of U.S. companies, why not just kick the wall a few times to accelerate the wall breakdown?

IDC: Cisco's Networking Market Share Dominance Slipping As It Battles HPE, Huawei

Cisco's Networking Market Share Slipping

The networking giant's longtime dominance in the Ethernet switching and routing market is slipping due to stiffer competition from Hewlett Packard Enterprise on the switching front and Huawei in routing, according to revenue data from research firm IDC.

According to IDC's Worldwide Quarterly Ethernet Switch Tracker and Worldwide Quarterly Router Tracker for the first quarter of 2016, Cisco saw a 4 percent decline in revenue year over year in the Ethernet switching market while its combined service provider and enterprise router revenue decreased 2.4 percent.

The overall worldwide Ethernet switch market grew 1.4 percent year over year to $5.48 billion in revenue in the first quarter of 2016 while the global enterprise and service provider router market saw revenue of $3.47 billion in first-quarter 2016 -- a 3.3 percent increase year over year.
