San diego just absorbed people who could not make it at qualcomm.
San Diego was a strategic site to hire people from QC and Broadcomm.
There is a lot of good engineers there. Some groups related to IoT lost their project this week.
There is no need for a San Diego site !!
It's a small place with few people, it would be more cost effective to shut it down.
Or is it just for Intel presence in South Cali near Qualcomm ?
Whether true or not, Intel needs to lose many more people.
