My advice to anyone on a PIP - use the time to begin your job search. Dell has no loyalty to you or anyone and doing the right thing, but coming up short, will do you no good.

thank you, now I know what a PIP is and will make sure my team at emc know this too. This is really not a bad thing considered you have time to start looking for a new JOB once you are PIPed.
PIP - Performance Improvement Plan. Dell loves their employees and will metric them measure every thing and when you fall short fire you thru PIP

Well said. Most of them won't see it coming as they increase quotas and then work on getting oyu on a PIP and then you know the rest of the story.
