Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Please choose VSP folks for next layoffs

VSP people should be the most prepared to be cut based on multiple warnings this year. So, it's only natural that BK chooses them and spare the rest of us hard workers trying to make Intel great again.

Principal Engineers are a joke. Agree that every PE I have known is simply a manager a--kisser. Floating deadwood.

I agree with PEs staying with one manager for years. I have seen many Sr. Engrs getting promoted to PEs because they were able to kiss the right manager's *ss. Then when they get a new mgr, they get S4/5, ISP. These leeches were just able to cruise all of these years until being cut off from their masters.

Perhaps what they should scrutinize are managers and PEs who either stay under the same manager for over 5 years, particulary when they follow their manager wherever they go organizationally. There are a lot of protectorates out there that need busting up.

I hear since firing l4 and l5 didnt work new hr theory is the repeat high performing population are actually the ones lettjng us down plus are on average paid more so top quartile of pay grade and multiple L1 or L2 grant in past three years will be next to go.

@egr, top management has no clue what to do. They're hoping some RCG will come in with a great new idea and lead the company. That, and RCG's are far cheaper (ignoring the price you pay as they learn practical skills instead of the theoretical stuff they were brainwashed with).

At some point it was decided that cheaper labor was better than experienced labor, @egr.

Everyone wants things cheaper these days. That's a lesson in 'be careful what you wish for cuz you just might get it'.

What happen to the times when the newly hired were the first to be cut during layoffs?

Totally agree with @gpu 😃 - OP and @uml should be the first to go since they are brown-nosing shills pointing at others to go.

I would fire all those who spoke negatively about Intel on the internal Circuit blog site as well.

If OP is asking for a vote, I second the nomination of VSPers next to hit the road. Get out!
