The yearly investors meeting is a chance for the management to set out their vision for Intel. Think it's appropriate they cancelled.

Or maybe they just don't want to announce that 30000 need to go just yet.
@1bnf - You are right, nothing is on the Investor Relations page, either for this month or for 1Q17. There doesn't appear to be any announcement of its move or cancellation, either. While there could be something big brewing, my guess is that the new CFO wasn't in place long enough to be comfortable with an investor meeting so soon - his first real show will be the Q4 earnings call in January, and then we'll see an investor disclosure pattern emerge from there.
@1mtc - I beg to differ, checked intc.com and there is no mention whatsoever of an analyst or investor meeting. Thought it was supposed to be this week or next week? I think I read somewhere else it would be held in Q1, but don't think any reasons were given for the date change. Something is brewing and will unravel in the next 2-6 months.

Did someone find out why it is delayed. This from a company that announces half baked success stories early for a quick sugar fix in the markets. Everyone knows what's coming. Intel is a commodity player manufacturing in America. Bye bye old friend

Internally it is rumored that BK doesn't want to make anymore negative announcements this year.
Was there any official announcement about the postponement of the investor meeting? What was the reason given?
