What is HR's job? Ours has done nothing but harass me over an incident brought on by a disgruntled employee, was quiting anyway, that I did nothing wrong. Doesn't even know the new vacation policy. I hope they got pay cuts & have to punch in & out.

HR plays a critical role ensuring that the right talent is in place to allow the business to innovate and grow. They also ensure the ethical and fair treatment of all employees through out the company. Without HR, Follett would not have the rockstar employees we have today.
Follet HR is the worst I have ever seen. Why spend time and money making introduction videos for the myHR, when 6 months later half of the staff has already quit? The hiring process when I was onboarded was a nightmare- it took 3 months. The recruiter who hired me is no longer with the company (no surprise) but I will never forget sending HER multiple emails days after she said SHE would follow up with ME! HR here seems to think that emoloyee engagement means playing some stupid recycling game, when really we need better compensation packages, a flexible work environment and actual training.
There are some pretty good HR people out there but the problem is they don't work at Follett.
You answered your own question-harass, what did you think the H in hr stood for? The overwhelming majority of hr and hrbp are incompetent a--holes.
