A new employee who was hired just in the past 2 months was let go....really ??? WTH

I hope they fire the whole land department. They all seem to be leaving anyways.

Wow wow. Just wow. They're having a field day today in the Houston ofc. People are scared to take lunch. Others are still waiting for their fate. They let go of some incredibly talented folks and I don't understand why not the underperformers? Or forego those bonuses and restructure. This is a lost cause.
Guess money won't be spent in the GOM, anytime soon. I know of managers and advisors that could go.
Don't know about other offices but 53 so far in Houston. Probably more by the end of the day.
It's brutal in the Houston office. A lot of walking out in NEC2. I heard finance GoM exploration EHSR and Operations is next. 25 ppl so far
