I hear that some NPD Projects at RCPL will be canceled (SRC). Does that mean there might be layoffs? Any one heard any thing. I hear some rumors that a list was made this last week to decide who gets released. Where do we go to see the list?

November 15 and 17 is the day of chopping
I have to come to the defense of the engineers. There are some very talented people doing their best. Where SLB has, is, and will continue to fail is in their inability to market effectively. Can you identify anyone in marketing who actually knows what they're talking about? No. They rely on the overworked sales and engineering groups to do their jobs for them, and even so, still manage to misunderstand the technology, its applications, and the clients who might use it.
I heard a major portion of ongoing NPD projects are getting chopped off. Haven't seen a whole lot new products being commercialized in the last 3 years. When they do get commercialized, the products are not selling because the competitors already launched something similar and dominated the market share. The amateur engineers in SRC are so lame
There will be no less than zero persons laid off.
More projects closing? surprising
