Yup, I don't see it reaching 37 or 38 again. At least not before the next round of layoffs.

Layoff fooled investors for awhile but smoke and mirrors have cleared. Wish I could have sold when it peaked. It will only get worse.

Stock closed at $33.6 today, will continue going lower now that analysts and investors are finally seeing BK's failed strategy for what it is, nothing but smoke and mirrors.

I saw that coming a mile away @1zgd, as I'm sure everyone did.

I'll take the 'Emoji trollie' as you call him over the "Cool story bro" guy. Why? The Emojie guy actually SAYS something worth reading. Just skip the pics if it bothers you. As for the "cool story bro", it's a waste of a click thinking something new was added to a thread, IMHO.

Of course, intc trends with the market. We've been saying this on this blog for quite sometime. There was one bozo who thought Intel was going to break above $38 because of great product introductions. It was only carried by the market itself to $37+ before falling back. Idiot. Lol.

Good idea @rym

It is the reason I switched to paper form of bank statements and important documents (passport, birth cert etc) . And have multiple copies just in case you lose one.

If people look back at history intel didn't secure x86 in server space till they had a process lead for one generation+ with the schedule published for 10 and 7nm intel is slowing while Samsung and TSMC are accelerating so at 1276 node is when ARM is likely to have real server products and intel will really swoon and the story will be the same as what x86 did. Intel was far smaller competing against far larger and better funded larger competitors in the 90s with that game plan and beat them. This time around Samsung, TSMC, Apple and Qualcomm as well as the Chinese government funded giants will wash over intel.

So I ask you are you ready to abandon the ship in 1276 time frame or retire, or you are going to be SOL!

Those VPs and older than 55 are going to be okay but everyone else is in big trouble with life changing event in the horizon!

A falling tide causes leaky and sound ships to fall. Also note in a rising tide irrational exuberance can even cause unseaworthy ships to rise.

X86 franchise is crumbling, the manufacturing prowess which was once Intels crown jewel of competive advantage will be matched by Samsung and TSMC this year and next year they will beat Intel. All done by their rise of ARM and the smartphone. Every family has a smartphone for every member of the family and upgrades on average between 24 to 28 months. PC / laptop we need one or maybe two in a house and kids given a choice would rather upgrade their phone than PC. A 299 PC is good enough and people desire and want better phones if they have a limited budget. Just look at any electronics store or Apple or Samsung Kiosk and see what is front and center and in the back! Where are the Intel kiosks! Nobody wants them as they don't provide any excitement nor revenue for the space they waste! Thin and light, 2 in 1, VR won't bring x86 relevancy back.

The one bright spot is also going to be fleeting. Servers make money, so much so that the ARMy will ride their superior volume and process advantage to win that maker in two to three years just like x86 did to the server and midrange guys. Virtuous cycle fumbled and lost this past ten years and ball recovered by ARMy and the are grinding out clock. Tick Tock clock has run out and every quarter 10 and 7nm slips is validation of the failure!

BKs bold growth is to attack commodity with no structural not scale advantage. So until he completely overhauls TMG manufacturing as well as product design methodology intel will be a flop in Modems, Memory, IoT.

Analyst can't see thru intels past technical achievements to see how structural and leadership issues will gurantee spectacular failure. Those inside either refuse to believe or hope they can milk this till retirement.

Analysts aren't investing their own money they are all chasing the quick profit. In a rising tide everything looks good and in a falling tide the intel legacy will soon be exposed!

Why are insiders dumping ?

Don't be caught with your pants down!

To put things into perspective.... the entire market is down today, not just Intel.
