Rigzone Ideal Employer Survey 2016

SLB was the number 2 oilfield service company ranked by Rigzone's survey, and number 6 overall for the global oil industry. Overall rankings for ideal oilfield employers: #1 Shell, #2 Chevron, #3 ExxonMobil, #4 BP, #5 Halliburton, #6 Schlumberger. The survey must not have contacted any of the posters on this board or that of Halliburton. Perhaps if OPEC can really stick to its stated production cuts then we will all be back in the money and the future will look bright.

SLB favor only younger profiles. if somebody younger can do your current job, you are gone. Paal's logic...

This just means that all oil industry companies s---. Oil field service companies s--- more than E&P companies. And Halliburton and Baker-Hughes s--- worse than SLB.

OPEC only supplies 40% of the world's oil...it does not take a genius to figure out what the other 60% are going to do.

Even if OPEC maintain the'reduced output', which is highly unlikely (Russia needs to fund its border dispute with the Ukraine), there will be less output therefore less work. Never wish for anything because sometimes you will get it.
