When will salary hike happen in India? Will it be effective July 2017?

Atleast Indians will be required to support existing customers.
In India only non performing people are getting layed off.
Not sure why there would be a salary change when there's people getting laid off. It's less costly for Avaya if people leave on their own.... No severance. They can always hire back in the one of the two parts after the split or get more contractors.
If Avaya wanna retain talent, they should do it earlier this time. Under so many speculations Indian people will not stay because they live in a growing economy full of jobs.
