I am extremely worried about this talk of Ai Vancouver being sold to Lasalle College. Could anyone shed more light?

Its their only school that makes money from "OTHER SOURCES" since the Canadians drop cash. Too bad that will screw over Ai Phoenix and all the other schools tagged onto their 90/10 numbers. Cutting off their nose on that one. Good job, EDMC.
If AI Vancouver is anything like our campus, there's no one left to bring visible value to anything. I was riffed a year ago. I found another job pretty quickly because I'd kept my portfolio up to speed. From what I've been told, my old campus has gotten rid of everyone who had any chops in the field. The only faculty left are a bunch of paperwork shuffling drones.
That's not what students are looking for in a school.
I wonder how many other schools are on the chopping block. Since LaSalle College has a presence in Vancouver, it would make sense for LaSalle College to buy Ai Vancouver--if the price is right. And since EDMC is desperate, the price should be low. I guess it would be easier for Lasalle College to fire the Ai employees (or get EDMC to fire them) unless they believed the Ai workers brought visible value to their bottom line.
Why is this a surprise?! EDMC is going to be gone any day now. And yes. This is a good thing.
Typically when a company buys another company its out with the old in with the new. So yeah I would be worried if I were you.
I agree with everyone else, if LaSalle bought Ai Vancouver what would be the downside?
I hope they buy the AI Seattle school too...anything to get away from EDMC would be a good thing
Shocking;}
@Ai Vancouver Employee, what would be the downside of LaSalle College buying Ai Vancouver?
