Las Vegas IS currently ACICS accredited.
We have 16 months to find another accreditation because ACICS will be done then.
Las Vegas had corporate here for a test, January is when ACICS will actually be going though the documents.
Probation means they have a certain amount of time to fix discrepancies before a following visit.
If the discrepancies are not up to par, the school loses.
It means if you're a student or an employee get out now (you should have left by now anyway).
What does "probation" mean? Does it mean they'll be watched over their job placement stats and all other false promises they make?

ACICS has NOT lost accreditation abilities yet. Schools that were accredited under them still are.

Las Vegas was ACICS, so they are currently without an accreditor.
Watch out... students are spreading the word about us.

Is this official? No announcement on the SACS website yet. This should also mean all of the branch campuses are on probation as well, correct? Does that mean they have to notify all of their students they are attending a college which may lose it's accreditation in the next 12 months? That would be a huge deal for EDMC, all of South U, then the majority of remaining Ai's.
The other colleges placed on probation by SACS this week, and the reasons for the probation, are:
Art Institute of Atlanta (finances)
Art Institute of Houston (finances)
The Art Institute of Houston has been placed on probation, at lease that's the word among staff and faculty.
