we already know about the CC spin-off by a regional leadership member, but the team division is not a reality yet. Where r u from? Layoff plans in India..... the old Avaya (UC NtW) will suffer a lot with team reduction.

How many BU's are affected in the US so far? What about sales/channels and how they will be separated with the new companies?

Our team is split into two parts and manager is asked to leave with a notice of one month and salary payment of two months as compensation.

Myself and my team also got to know today by manager that we will stay with Avaya. And she gave a hint that she is also looking out for job.

So better prepare for interviews and move out of the company to safeguard your family rather than staying with Avaya UC.

If Chapter 11 IS in the works, why is everyone panicking? Remember when GM and Fiat-Chrysler filed for Chapter 11? I do, and now they are more profitable than ever, kicking out better products and technology, and customers are very happy. No one shouldn't be losing sight of that, and competitors should be worried that Avaya has a chance to eliminate the debt, which is the only FUD they have to beat Avaya and win a deal. They still have the best CC/UC technology in the world.
