Yes. TCO does a lot more than products but what is the company bottom-line? Technology does not generate revenue. LCO can do technology and products. TCO is the third wheel in reard to a design center. Its days are numbered. 6 to 12 moths is about right for closure.

I also don't see what use TCO is now as it's now been permanently crippled. It'll be gone soon.

There had t be more than 160 released at tco. The facility was devastated. TCO no longer has the capability to generate a product. I watched several key people walked out the building today. I'll be shocked if this facility is staffed this time next year. TCO is now on the shr\okc path to closure. I feel bad for the managers that had to layoff this significantly talented group of disc drive employees. I also feel bad for the personnel that were let go. No recovery from this; product launch is dead in MN. I hope senior management knows what the plan is because I do not see one based on this RIF. LCO is the lone player and deliverer for products going forward.
