The four beer post 12/6 rumor is more TCO RIFs in the am 12/7/2016. However, they are not engineering product delivery specific. I think they are SSD but hell they got gutted previously so I have a hard time believing this one. I personally think tco RIFs are done until mid 2017. Based on the personnel RIFd today, TCO product delivery is not an option. WTF. The facility is probably on the fast track to closure. Best bet would be to offer remaining personnel transfers to LCO and hope for at least 35% acceptance; and then cut the TCO lights out once the remaining TCO products are done.

About 160 people at TCO. 80 at LCO

I also would say rather in the 200s at SHK. It 'helped' that some really good people left by themselves in the last several months already. Seagate's loss.

TCO is less then 200. LCO I am not sure. But more Layoffs are coming to TCO in the following months.
