Hopefully, apple won't cripple the iphone 8 and slow down the LTE modem just because they want two suppliers to look like they perform the same, even when intel's modem is clearly a dog....

Anything Intel is a POS
Intel is not making dents on any market, besides losing a huge share of PC market. What do you you want with BK running the show? He had no business experience but wanted to be the next Steve Jobs. Joke!

Even if Intel wrapped dollars around each modem, that won't compensate Apple for the bad press and comparison with Samsung's performance and others using Qualcomm at full speed. Unless Intel can be competitive or better that Qual, it's days of being an Apple modem supplier are over.
