In the E&T townhall a question was asked if we will be having another furlough in 2016 and they still don't know. I remember when there was a five year plan. Those days are gone.

The furloughs are a lever they pull to protect their quarterly bonuses (aka: MIPs)
If they dont make the numbers required for a bonus, they have a furlough. this steals a weeks pay from those employees whose positions are not bonus incentive eligible.
Then they publicly praise themselves that they are also included in the week without pay. LOL
The bonus is WAY higher then one week of pay. so give up $1 to get $10, yes they are great leaders.
SRLO-Short Range Looking Out, 3yr & 5yr STRAP- Strategic Plan, & AOP-Annual Plan all still exist. They are just lying to us. The easiest target is Salary Exempt employees. If we were building ball point pens or safety pins I guess they could automate everything, but we are not.
