At some point the I didn't no defense rings hollow. That goes for everyone left at follett. The company has treated its employees terribly for more than 4 years now. If you don't think it has affected you, you're number is coming up. The only reason to stay is you think the people who've been affected have earned it. You're wrong.

If you didn't know, you know now. Time to freshen the resume. Time to evaluate skills. Time to truthfully measure your effectiveness. Time to get out in the job market. The market is great, but it's not as bad 2010.

This is pure propoganda from a few DE loyalists. She is neither hard working nor caring. I agree with the karma comment. At some point the chickens come home to roost. Happy Holidays and please post your stories that offer a more truthful perspective.

Mr Miller get a life and move on.

Why do you care what is happening at Follett?

You left and NO ONE was sad to see you go, most people wondered why it took so long.

DE is not to be blamed for the crap that has been going on - it comes from the executives and Follett family.

No one cares what you have to say or how you feel about DE.

The people who work with her and for her feel she is a hard worker and is a caring person.

You sir were and still are neither.

Seriously guys, Darlene and all the other managers had no say in this and in fact only learned of the layoffs this week. Leadership and HR are the ones making all the calls of who and when. As in all the previous layoffs, I did not know there was a layoff of one of my team members until it was happening. Cut her some slack.

as a member of the Team let go over 10 months ago I can only say I am doing well. if it wasn't for DE helping me better myself and learn more than just painting walls and plunging out your Toilets I would not be at my new job I am now. DE has no say in who gets let go. it starts at the 9th floor higher ups and we all know sh-- runs downhill. so in the end you all need to put your BIG girl and BIG boy pants on and get a life. DE is a goods person doing the best she can to Help all that work for her.

DE and crew are good people. They figuratively and literally keep the facility running. From mail delivery to furniture moves to setting up for board meetings this small and often overlooked team quietly and without complaint do anything asked of them. Stop kicking DE for decisions you have decided she has the latitude to make. She and her team remained classy and kept multiple facilities running through multiple cuts. Get a life. As for TM ugh you creepy f*ck.

Wow! So I guess this thread is about the maintenance layoff. Now I know who DE is thanks to you guys. I know for a fact that her so called family members were saved because of DE. How can someone that's been working for the company for 20 years get laid off and not her family ties crew when they're barely making 10 and he or she are capable of doing the same job? Coincidence? Hmm...

Hey " TM"! F--- you and your B. I . T. C. H. A--. tactics. Get a life. There's a reason why you got let go 2 plus years ago. You're a joke and scum. Good riddance and get some mental help instead of trolling on a site you have no business being on.

She didn't decide to lay someone off, she decided WHICH person on her team got laid off. Just like the engineers at RG when she got there weren't good enough and only HER engineers SHE brought in were REALLY good. She is so insecure that only people who owe her their loyalty does she trust. How do you think a little sore head t**d like SY sticks around?

Kind of like her boss FO. His son and daughter-in-law are bullet proof. They're the best ever!

Drink the Kool-Aide, buy the BS they spoon feed you, it doesn't matter anymore. WE SEE WHAT YOU'VE DONE! How f**king sad...

Wrong DF.

She doesn't make the decision of who gets let go.

You have no clue as to how Follett does things so shut up already.

To all of you making DE sound like the worst person earth, there is a huge flaw in your logic. Why would DE "choose" to let go of her own people when her team was already running on a skeleton crew. Why would she risk her own team's reputation by stretching them even thinner? DE is a manager who embodies fairness, hard work, grace, and elegance. Do not bring down others to simply relieve your anger and tension, that is the mindset of a child.

DE is protected somehow. Many have speculated why. Doesn't really matter. Karma will eventually kick in.

Senior mgmt. says they need a cut, she tells them which one. It's her decision all the way. Believe what you want to or what you've been told to but that's the fact Follett Troll. She is the decision maker.

You have no f ing clue what you are talking about. Mgrs are not a part of who gets cut that comes from executive officers.

They are not told until the morning of it happening.

And yes I know this a fact.

How does she get to make the executive decision to emulate jobs, but yet her family, or family ties do not get affected? Isn't that some kind of company violation?
