Thread regarding Noble Energy Inc. layoffs

Poorly run organization c'mon folks

I don't work at noble but know of some good people that do.....your company lacks good leadership at the very top, y'all bend over to your piers and are a joke to others, almost as much as your previous partner

Until significant changes are made at the top that company will continue to be a dud, the stock will underperform and my good friends and other good people you have there willl jump ship as opportunities present themselves

Get it together will you?

Most everyone I know still at Noble would like to leave... Get other jobs. This will not change when industry activity returns. People will leave this garbage company as soon as they can.

They can start with Susan. Then Jim, Ian, Henry, Robb, Kelly and both Danny boys. That would be a good start at cleaning out the dead wood and restoring accountability.

You said do the math.

17 rooms and knowing Noble, at least one of those will be used as a 'command center' or some other asinine thing. They absolutely will take thier 'hour' for lunch and probably another hour for 'debriefing'. Leaving 3 - 4 hours. Last time, seems to me it took longer than 15 minutes per peron. So estimate 20 - 30. Giving a range of 90 to 204 people laid off or 1 to 2 thirds susans organization. That's an unhelpfully large range but fits well the numbers i have been hearing of around 50%

There's no way in hell, we have the capacity to can 340 people. If we do, when things pick up. The people who stayed, will no doubt leave.

there are 17 conference rooms booked by HR on Monday from 8 until 1 in NEC1 & NEC2 combined. Unless HR is gathered to talk about benefits roll out than it can best best assumed the severance roll out will begin on Monday November 7th. It takes about 15 minutes for each person to go through the process. 4 people per hour X 17 X 5. do the math.

On Monday, they arrange to get the black cars to take people away. The axe will fall on Tuesday and depending on how many are slated to go, will continue Wednesday.

2015 layoffs were both on Tuesday's. Guess they don't want to risk someone being laid off not coming into the office.

Noble doesn't lay off on a Monday. Noble lays off on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Watch for the black SUVs next week!

Layoffs are Monday the 7th,

Noble's unique way of getting employees some free time for the vote on the 8th.
