No surprise here. DTV is sort of covering for the massive losses, but not really. Just goes to show you how crappy a product U-verse is.

If AT&T didn't have DIRECTV, they'd be even more screwed.

I'm not understanding how the q3 announcement triggered a good dividend payout....there's a story there ,probably with unicorns and leprechauns.

As the saying goes, "were there is smoke there is a fire" so let's toss another log into Randall's house ablaze.

Now as you can see tv everywhere was a complete failure and as it's been brought up before cord cutting is the real deal and why DTV and TW are now more than happy to sell and get out while the getting is good. Laughing all the way to the bank.

Funny how they tried to distract everyone from their $hitty earnings results with the nutty Time Warner deal. Slick....real slick...

Yep Barron's saying this might signal just how quickly things are deteriorating. I guess this might signal a supercharged surplus.

There are other ways to acquire more customers without putting the company into a $220B in debt. AT&T is panicking and thus making idiotic mistakes.

I have to say after something like 80 quarters of growth, it was only a matter of time before there was a drop in the number of wireless customers. The market is full. Everyone who wants a phone pretty much has one That is why you are seeing expansion into Mexico. AT&T is having to leave the United States for new customers! As far as the Time Warner deal, it just looks like they are trying to tackle Verizon head on for access to customers and grab the content before Google or someone else with billions in cash does it.

Shareholders not sure if deal will clear. Randall better get that dog and pony out....sprinkle some pixie dust...put on that Colgate smile and sell this deal some more.

This is funny because Att's release doesn't use "losses"anywhere it's how they were able to pay those nice dividends.
