Kmart won't give their employees a raise. Won't give them a chance to spend time with their families for the holidays. Kmart you should be ashamed. I have worked for the company for many years. I'm ready for the inevitable. We are going to lose our jobs. I just hope people boycott stores who refuse to give employees time for their families. Hopefully customers will make Kmart pay a heavy price for staying open all day on Thanksgiving Day this year.

No, that is not true. There are plenty of people who get holidays off. Where do you think the shoppers are coming from?
Most people who have decent jobs work holidays, princess.
Its worked out so well for Kmart over the past few years. Why change anything now.

It doesn't take people working on Thanksgiving to make people boycott Kmart and Sears. They are already staying away. Have you seen the sales numbers?
Anyone who has been in a kmart store recently should be able to see that it is pretty obvious they dont care about their stores, their employees or their customers
if you are going to complain why don't you just find another job....some of us are hoping to stay as long as the company can stay afloat and will work whatever they tell us....I am not giving up after 32 years of employment there and the pay I have accumulated. My daughter is a nurse.....she works the holidays....my son is a policeman.....he works his holiday shift.......we just have our Thanksgiving on another day so we can be together.
