Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Cote is a life-long registered Republican

He's learned he's needed to schmooze the President to get his way, but he's not a liberal by any stretch of the imagination and it amazes me to see people post that here. He and the Honeywell PAC will buy and cajole whoever they can in government (R or D) to get what they need to get enrich themselves. Just because he's working over a Democrat to get his way doesn't make him a Democrat.

Regardless of daves political leanings, we can all agree he's just a no good, lousy, goombah scumbag. We can all agree on that. I look forward to never again listening to his gross east coast goombah accent. hey Dave, there is no "r" at the end of China, India or America. They're pronounced Chine-ah, not Chine-er, Indy-ah, not Indy-er and America, not Americ-er. Selling out American jobs for your own profit should be considered an act of treason, to which the penalty is death. I don't believe in violence but I believe in Karma and you, motherfvcker, are gonna get it big time! I just hope that when it happens, you realize it's payment for all the times you fvcked over the very people who made you rich. You din't earn this; you were hired as the CEO, likely because of someone your dad knew, or how good your male servicing skills are. So, maybe your beach house will get swept away in a hurricane with you in it? Who knows?

LOL, Yea, Yea, Right. Cote really is a Republican, Hillary really is a Ultra-Conservative, Bernie really is a Moderate Democrat, Bush was really responsible for 9/11, AIDS is really a man made disease, The Apollo moon landing never happened, A UFO crashed in Roswell, there are Aliens in Area 51, Paul is dead, medical costs will not go up under Obama care, There are no furloughs planned, there is no truth to the RIF rumors, management had the same pay reduction as the employees, That is some funny $hit ! Keep drinking the Kool-aide or smoking whatever you are smoking.

Tony T you must be a Republican who doesn't want to believe Cote votes the same as you do. I can't find any of your info you mention on any Google searches but I provided a few below for you to check including his actual Republican voter registration. I read an article yesterday that says he gets grief from his fellow Republicans for schmoozing Obama.

"Honeywell International Chief Executive Dave Cote, a self-proclaimed "lifelong Republican," said he was frustrated with the party's unwillingness to agree to a deal."

HIPAC is a joke. I stopped giving as well. If you are a member of the ALT or one level below, there is an expectation that you heavily contribute as well as recruit "donors".

Except for the fact that on MSNBC in March 2012 when they asked Dave of his party affiliation, and potentially running on the Republican New Hampshire Congressional candidate, Dave said; Quote

"Ha, well, I have always voted democratic in every presidential election, but if I could run as a republican and continue to vote for my party(DEM), I might do that (chuckle)" He went on to say, "Seriously, I want nothing to do with running for an elected position as a Republican, I support Jeanne (Shaheen) and I am happy with being an advisor for President Obama on a multitude of issues that impact my employees and working class Americans, and will continue that level of support for the foreseeable future".

For Obama's top donors, Dave cote is listed as " A top democratic donor for President Obama". Google it.

A GOOGLE search does not show any indication Cote is a Republican, but quite the opposite, from the multiple CNN and MSNBC interviews. And he will not go on FOXNEWS, like most liberals.

So, your statement is without merit, and false. Also, claiming to know how somebody is politically registered is similar to claiming to knowing their IQ. Both are rarely publicly information. That Dave Cote being a liberal democrat, by his own words, his own actions, two fund raising events at his own home for HRC, a Top business advisor for Obama(again, his own words), does not fit the classic liberal narrative, is your problem. Who cares how he is allegedly politically registered ! His political actions, and his own words are what matter.

HIPAC under Cote gives 51% to 59% to democrats, and 49% to 41% to republicans. So, again, slightly left leaning. Again, facts. In the last presidential election, HIPAC under cote ONLY gave funds to Obama. Again, facts.

The facts and reality do not support your statement.

I stopped giving to HIPAC the day the second furlough was announced. I dare them to ask me to sign up again. Why give to a political action committee when they send our jobs to Mecico and take weeks of pay away from our families? To heck with them!

Corporate traitors often go to bed with whichever party is in power at the time, to curry favors and attention. Party loyalty is irrelevant when you're rich and powerful enough to manipulate politicians of any stripe.

Yup. Dave is an acolyte of Jack Welch and as Republican as you can get. Some folks have the need to believe that every bad actor on the planet is a liberal for some reason.

Maybe people should stop giving money to the HW PAC. I know at a certain level of management it's expected, but screw them.
