Anyone heard any rumours that the Bedlington facility is to shut at xmas, some manpower and Manifold work may be transferred to Gateshead or Montrose???, heard this rumour off a service tech!!!.

You might smell bullshit buts it's only a matter of time before it's your turn ,with Gateshead shutting just announced, start looking, not much out there.

Well thought so looks like it's time to bail out , every one at Bedlington saying we have got rid of the crap , so we are safe !!! , don,t know what to do !!!

I don't think Montrose is safe either but could be just another rumour. Allegedly November is supposed to be when everything starts happening regarding redundancies. Oil prices are low, work is scarce and a company with huge losses can't keep going at this rate. I think the Uk part of the company is going to suffer the most.
By the sounds of it all NOV facilities outside Scotland will be closing at Xmas.
