I pray for EDMC/Art Institutes layoffs everyday! You're all low-lives with no real life skills to offer, other than to steal and ruin young financial lives! Good luck landing another job with EDMC/Art Institutes on your resume, you f-ing losers!!!

We have been taking Argosy students for a while. This isn't a merger. Nothing to see here. Move along.

In short, as the Argosy - AI merger happens, layoffs will occur but I don't think they'll happen in September. Look for next quarter.

I'll throw it out there. Is the AI - Argosy merger a done deal?

I believe the consolidation of Argosy and AI is true. As the two schools merge, there will be the inevitable duplication of job titles. It appears that departments may be eliminated. So, as the merger takes place, administrators, staff and faculty will be dismissed. Because they're drawing from a larger pool, I do think Full Timers will be given severance. Because the merger may require whole schools to pull up stakes and move, students will be lost. If EDMC is closing down shop, all this consolidating is a smart move. It helps streamline the process even if it is maddeningly slow.

Why layoff when you can just close the doors like ITT. The ship is almost full the water is just about to spill over and lay this boat to rest on a cold salty floor of all the shareholders tears.
