Chevron will make arrangements for the pre-employment physical.

Where do you go for these tests? Hometown or Houston?

And if you shave your head, arm pit, chest, legs and pubic area, don't forget your nose hairs. But, if you didn't miss that part either, then know for certain Chevron will disqualify you from being hired. You better have some hair to give. Shave everything clean, but only leave around your a$$hole. If they want to hire you that badly, they'll need to bend down and start plucking.

If you shave your head they will take arm pit hair or pubic.

-3dlm. Do not worry much about the pre-employ .... as long as your breathing, not a felon, and drug free for the last year or so, there will be no issues. A warning, however, that they do test hair these days ... I think the most recent inch ... so the drug test does reach back in time maybe a year depending on how fast your hair grows. Not sure what they are testing for ... but you have been warned!.

Got an offer, but it seems to be contingent on a premployment physical, drug screen and some background check. Do I go to my doctor for this and will I need to send all of my medical records? I have only seen my new doctor once and my old doctor retired a few years back, so I will have to hunt those down.

OP, apparently there are butthurt envious deadwood employees like @JqOuhBA-3gwn who are afraid of losing their jobs to talented, up and coming recent graduates who will not sit on their a$$es and jack off like they do and they will actually be productive. Just ignore them, they are just jealous.

I am EXTREMELY butthurt by this thread, I thought that I had an advantage at the office by the way I worked my goods. I thought that I could shake my booty better than anyone at 1400 smith. I guess I have more competition than I could ever imagine. I may be deadwood, but I promise you that my bosses all get the hardest woodie imaginable when I strut my stuff in my favorite skirts and 5" heels. I thought I was making a difference. i hope all these sore butts that I go home with have been worth it. I usually get the full treatment, inside and out, and I know it the next day if you know what i mean. I suffer from excessive flatulence for days but it is worth it. I usually climax multiple times with each session with each boss so I am thoroughly pleased with my performance even if hey are not. C'est la vie!.

-3cev, you got the routine down? Are you the one I see around the office with that OMG face expression all the time? I thought you had lock jaw and an O-ring inserted between your lips and teeth.

There will be some limited new hires directly out of school this recruiting round. In fact I know at least two recent offers went out and where accepted by new grads recently. The numbers are low, but that number is not zero!

Reading this makes you think it would be stupid to even entertain the idea of an offer. Man.

-2vrf, No you're wrong I know that -2xlx is being honest and telling the truth, he gets nothing but ones when he gets PMP'ed. He gets them by getting down on his knees and svcking the managers off. He's very good at what he does and gets very high ratings!

@JqOuhBA-2xlx, Yes, Retard, Your 3 word vocabulary is very impressive, idiot. Too bad that you had to lie about getting 1 ratings like an adolescent. I'll make sure that they are 3's next time if they are not already, based on your actual 4-year old intelligence level. If your supervisor gave you any ones at all he or she must surely be as Brain-Dead as you or just not paying attention- LMAO!!!

@JqOuhBA-2pfu is a brainless retard. You have no clue and are a dimwitted simpleton. I ca't believe that Chevron even hires such morons. 2dry's post was right on target. I am a manager with many more years than you, douche-bag.

Chevron will continue the layoffs in smaller numbers and continue recruiting new hires from college. The result will be backfilling positions of older and higher paid employees with these younger and lower paid green horns.

2dry is clueless. There will be full time graduate hires this year. Not 2013 numbers but some nonetheless. 2dry there is no ten point system anymore. Get up to date

No fulltime hires unless there is an extraordinarily compelling business reason. Some internships are possible but few and far between. Most schools will see no interns but this will be a good year for diversity-based interns. Recruiting teams being sent to maintain communication continuity. You will see a lot of new freshly scrubbed, marginally talented recruiters who are a bit clueless about the bleakness of hiring possibilities but are still mistakenly enthusiastic. Mainly because they still have a job. For now. I think students are smart enough to to recognize what is going on. If students see a new recruiter at their school, they should ask what happened to the previous recruiter(s). Chances are they got layed off.

This really is a terrible time to intern or get hired at Chevron. Horizons hires were not protected during the multiple ROMs, the ESP and the RAE and the October PDC is filled with many must-move new hires with 1-2 years with Chevron and not all will have chairs when the music stops. Plus the senior mentors have mostly retired and those that are left have very little incentive to mentor and every reason to actually be an obstacle to early career hires as a matter of job security. As an early-career professional and a recruiter for Chevron, i feel fortunate to have found a few seniors still interested mentoring. I hope I can pay that forward someday. Good luck if you are trying to get in but you better be a "10" in the STAR behavior-based interview system and you better be a better 10 than all the rest. You better also understand that getting in is a guarentee of nothing

I don't wear underwear in the Houston office and I am proud of my well-toned physique and don't mind the stares that I get from lonesome horny men at my DDD chest.

I am aware that they are on their annual recruiting visits and interviewing but don't know whether they are actually hiring. Most likely, very few job offers are being made. Reminds me of a time when I was in grad school in the 1990s.

Sign of desperation that they are hiring arrogant, self absorbed grads with no experience or clue of how things work - especially on the back end of all the people they've run off due to management incompetence.
