There's no reason to have a union at this point. As far as the future of HDD goes, the horse has already left the barn. If you're going to unionize anyone, it should be the workers in SDD facilities, provided that the union is not in collusion with the government the factory is located in.
Maybe it's time for Seagate to become the first tech company with a union. I call that innovation and growth.
Time to start a side business/job to make money. Start running an Amazon help desk from your office with your iphone for example. If you're treated like a mercenary, then a mercenary you should be.
shame on them! US inflation from 2014-2016 is 1.7%, so after two years of nothing essentially everyone who got less than that is cheaper. The Seagate Way!
