Intel was the envy semiconductor world for the last decade having made revolutionary changes like strained silicon, Hik metal gates and finfets. The past few years haven't been pretty as the clock work tick Tock has slipped as Intel product launches have slipped more and more. On the other hand TSMC and with partners Apple, Nvidia, Qualcomm and host of others have now caught up. The TMG team and the CEO who was part that group is to blame and need some explanation to do how with more money and a lead they lost it all. Physics is the same in Hillsboro as it is Hsinchu and the tools available are all the same. To lose a two year lead is simple an absolute failure of BK and his TMG cronies!
