That's what I heard too @pga. Should be interesting in a "can't stop watching a trainwreck" kind of way.

Lots of people will be wishing they took the generous package as the new cuts will be swift and with minimal severance. This was discussed and approved already.
Get your life jackets ready as the titanic is throwing people overboard now with no lifeboat or life jacket
We do in secret, just like in China; you ask too many questions; you next. You will STAND for the Chinese National Anthem during all meetings.
Whenever Murthy feels like laying off a few thousands to increase stock and sell his shares
Cuts and re-orgs are going on now without regard to performance.
ACT type layoffs will be integrated into the new focal. That avoids the publicity of laying people off while still satisfying Murthy. If you're in the lower percentile then you'd better pack your bags. Best part is, they can adjust the cut off each year to meet whatever numbers they want without anybody knowing since your rating is now thumbs up or thumbs down.
Jn5Qt5D-pmg In your dreams... If x86 starts growing again this quarter, 10nm comes in early 2017 and modems and foundry hit home runs than Intel can survive with just standard IR, but none of that is trending to the no layoff landing zone so more ACTs a coming, LOL
When intel stock goes below $26.
Remember, BK said ACT runs until end of 2017 so still in ACT 1. That point forward, ACT will be the NORM so there's no 2 or 3. For as long as BK and Murthy are around anyway.
When's the board starts grilling BK on the real prospects and issues with memory, modems, foundry, Moore's law and prospects at 10 and 7 and WTH is Intel doing compared to TSMC Qualcomm Apple and Nvidia and the $hit will fly and ACT2 and 3.
Revenues and stock can't hide the fact all Kong and his court have no clothes. Don't worry another 20-40k will be going by 2018
Did it even end?
Hard to say, after the mole posting info to the Oregonian was ISP'd, there are no reliable sources on the inside. My guess would be sometime in Q1-Q2 next year, but don't take that for granted.
Next week.
