Thread regarding National Oilwell Varco Inc. layoffs

Restructuring at PCG Eldridge

Kudos to the innovator willing to use integrated product teams. It is the best change to happen in this downturn and will guarantee collaboration and eliminate over-the-wall engineering changes and solutions.

We have a running bet on the various empire builders in Eld/WLY supplier management that only 2 years ago sat fat and demanded "incentives" to add you to their ASL, my money is on D Chandler, can't wait to see that crooked self proclaimed emperor fall, all a bunch of dishonest pricks getting their negative energy returned!

The top of the food chain does not care about anyone other than themselves. Their decisions are heavily influenced by the investors and board.

Yes!! if management felt threatened by the skills of an employee they showed them the door before they got thrown out. what a bunch of imbeciles at NOV that call themselves VPs and Snr. VPs. don't know their a-- from their elbow

Yes it was because PCG has turned into the slums after Mondays antics. Thieves and liars, that is who is running the place and their minions that follow them. If management felt threatened by an employee they walked them out the door before that employee took their job. Sad, maybe Joe and Clay need to look into the decisions being made there and the reasons they gave to those that were asked to retire or laid off. I have been out for a couple more than now myself and continue to hear from those left that it is just hell there with no bright future. Start from the top and work the way down the food chain.

Was let go a few months after Frank Springett took over Eldridge. Surprised to hear he's at Richmond now. Sounds like an excellent move

Frank Springett got out of Eldridge just in time. Taking a demotion and moving to the tower was a safe move.

Bunch of FK Tards! AKA Management. . Let smart employees go keep the overwhelming lost ones. It just keeps getting better. So much for moral in that place. I was blessed on the first round to get out. Good luck all

Brown nosers, the not so strong ones that the managers that are left feel inferior to and the lesser of the paying "victims", that is who is left. I was the lucky one that they released last round. I have kept in touch with some of the employees, however they were released Monday as well. Good luck NOV, you have created a mess and you will pay dearly for it with the lack of management talent and lack of regular employee talent that you so "wisingly" decided to reflect you.

After Monday's layoff, what's left to be restructured? Managers being shuffled cos they let go all employees at WLY/ELD?
