First of the many hyped but not deliverable initiatives to fail and layoffs are soon to follow

It is a first generation product. It is perhaps a strategy to release products with improving performance.

That really IS a record walk-back. I wonder how they are positioning the radical performance reduction.

And this was actually the most promising of the new initiatives. First to fail and many more will come ...

Typical Intel - overhyped BS

Wait for the commodity Asian competition to drive out all profit and leave Intel in a money losing situation.

Hasten the lay-offs! More money down the sewer.
