Bullshit. My son was hired fresh out of school with a masters in EE. They gave him a $4000 signing bonus, got him 6 sigma trained , and Certified . Then got RIF'd in Jan, 11 months later.

I am a recent college graduate and I feel like I am still affected by the RIF. If I am not let go, I cannot stay at a company where they treat their tenured employees like this: no pay raises, non-competitive vacation time, and overworking employees. I am not looking good forward to what it will be like if I have been here for 3+ years.

If any recent graduates are considering honeyhell, DONT. Trust all of us when we tell you that this company is NOT where you want to make long term plans. Use honeyhell for experience then dump them and find a better employer.

For Finance graduates, the career in USA for Honeywell may not look good. At the HON website, 129 positions in Finance are posted, but only 35 are in USA. I retired after 10 years at AERO HON and it was a disappointing experience when compared to my other career positions. A starting salary for new graduates might be competitive but the long outlook may look dim. Based on my experience with no annual increases, low merit increases, furloughs, a declining benefit package, it was my worse career change.

Hard to hide constant furloughs and 0% pay raises from the interns. They aren't choosing Honeywell unless they have no other options.

Great! Enjoy your lower overall salaries, garbage benefit package and zero cost of living jobs. But hey at least you'll be around long enough to train your job away permanently.
