I think it layoff will be regular affair at Target / Target India, directly or indirectly. But surprising thing is heavenly paid, non capable people are promoted at director / Sr Director and even sent onsite HQ for what ? Even god will not know :0:)

If cost saving has to be done, remove the top Fat / Flab at Target India / Target , which any way has never been accountable neither has performance. Those who were capable has already been shunted out saying you dont contribute in FFF and other sh-- thing like Initiative. Now I feel anybody uses word initiative in Target should be slapped immediately

Sounds like BC has 137 days left

and the trend is when Target doesn't meet it's goal financially, they want to cut back. In January, contractors are let go,,,that usually doesn't save $$, then its the worker bees (you) - some in January, some in February, more in March.

You do realize that Target jobs and contractors were eliminated/reduced when TGT roles were outsourced to cheaper labor in India? Kharma!
