I wonder what someone has to do to get rid of the entiee post that had over 20 comments and 600 views? Somebody you know where must have gotten their feelings hurt!

Somebody supporting Bartlesville has been able to influence administrators.
I really think this threads are being monitored by one with interest in COP. and indictive and sensitive threads are being deleted.
This particular thread that was deleted was not insultive and neither were names mentioned. However certain truths were indicated like the comparison of threads of other companies (like Shell and Petronas) comments on layoff site with that of COP shows certain things namely:
That there are much more comments on COP layoff threads as compared to other companies. It seems this site is a forum for past and present employees to vent thier anger and frustration.
There are much more negative comments than positive. More so, some negative threads have been deleted. Any thread indicating good things about company or management has not being deleted thus far.
that COP past or present staff are much more divided and bitter about the mode of operation in the company.
That there needs to be more collaboration between the employee. Like Bartlesville employees and finance and geoscience staffworking together and supporting one another. Presently people are tearing at one another based on comments on this site. Engineers feel finance add little value. Staff not working in Bartlesville thinks the place should be closed and so on. Management needs to demonstrate sincerity, teamwork and collaboration. This things are needed to make the company progress and profitable especially in the low price environment.
I think this was the last comment in the particular thread that was deleted. Maybe this thread would also be deleted!!!!
Yeah go read the one talking about giving he?d. There are some graphic things said and they haven't been removed. Guess COP culture doesn't mind filth but doesn't want to hear they are toxic.
Ehhh...that's questionable. There have been name called and horrible things said in various posts but those posts are still there. Things about physical favors (using very graphic words).
Can't remember what was on the post that was deleted in it's entirety, but don't think anyone called another an idiot or close to that..... Only people called COP toxic.
Maybe if you read the content rules in the footer. This site supports free exchange of ideas, but some things like trolling, insults, name naming and racism not allowed. If you break any of it, they (admins) practically nuke all your posts and ban your IP.

If COP didn't monitor this site, then why have several posts been removed once certain things are said? I have seen other posts deleted. If COP doesn't have skin in this site, why would posts with no bad language be removed like the post in question?

Just proves how dysfunctional and toxic that place is.
I guess if someone uses a $ sign or other symbols and punctuation, the comments are ok. Go look at other threads and posts.
I don't think anyone used vulgarity on the post that was deleted, but someone must have gotten bent out of shape reading the truth about the company and how people feel.
Just start the post over again. What was it about?
I don't understand why they would remove the entire post and comments and not just the vulgar, and if somebody had one at the end?

Yeah that was fast. Sad too because there are some threads with vulgar things that are said but those comments seems to be ok.
Some need to vent on this sight. But I guess freedom of speech isn't allowed even if it is truth...
