What has this guy done in his career to be given the helm of a company like Intel? He just wants 4 more years and to sail into the sunset. He couldn't pick a winner in a one horse race.

I first became worried when BK became mesmerized by drones.
BK couldn't run a lemonade stand, lead water downhill, or manage his way out of a wet paper bag if his life depended on it.

He always seems to have that deer in the headlights look - bewilderment.
This guy is way in over his head. Murthy will have no problem disposing of him in a bid for CEO.
@Jdi8lSS-stp The largest problem is indeed everyone promoted has to toe the party line. So anyone that finally makes it to the senior level even if they had any intelligence or Visio. It is diluted by decades of barking yes and toeing party line.
Summary there is no innovative thinking from internal senior management, the cultural beats that out of people.
Summary no recovery is possible at Intel with an Intel manager!

BK's a nincompoop, him being chosen as CEO just shows how much of a nincompoop Intel BOD have become. Anyways, most of Intel's level 9 and above mangers are all full of sh--. Back stabbing, a-- kissing, finger pointing SOBs. If you are not one of the gang in the higher ups, forget about being promoted to lvl 9 and above. That's Intel culture!
If you have watched and listened to BK he has the intelligence and insight of an hard working OCD auto mechanic.
He was lucky , got a degree from San Jose State in Engineering. Early in his career he showed little true brilliance nor leadership. His OCD and crazy work ethics and values fit the FSM mindless CE mentality and he was the dumb person that was right person at the right place at the right time. Don't be fooled by what he says now as intelligence. Remember he is a boss and thru meetings fed much and then just parrots and passed as his own intelligence!
True brilliance comes from deep insight and ability to see things and act before they are obvious to all.
Intel was a cooked goose 5 -7 years ago! The people that knew or sounded the alarm weren't rewarded and are gone. Layoffs and embrace the obvious winners after the fact are stupid and sad attempts to recover by bad management!

Intel has been living on luck of IBM selecting them decades a ago. Luck has run out for both BK and Intel and no amount of hard work can do more than catch up. Between CRB, PSO and BK all they did was feed the golden goose and now it is dying slowly and surely. BK will be gone by 2018
