Norm is a Comp Sci professor at UC Davis and has been tracking this for well over a decade. He appears in many forums and in government to argue against increasing the # of people in STEM (there's more than enough, check out the unemployment!) age discrimination, and the visa system that HON and other companies game.
He's bulletproof from people saying he's anti-Asian or racist--his wife is a Chinese national who immigrated to the US. He has testified how if there really is a shortage, why haven't his US students gotten jobs with shortage-level salaries, etc.

In AZ I have heard every congressperson boldly state at HIPAC that we have no problems getting jobs. In fact. Tea-Party Schweikert said at Deer Valley that we could just walk down the street and get an equal one. Blue Dog Dem Sinema, etc. Senator Hillary Clinton gave a speech in India and said "I am the Senator from Punjab". Herr Donald Drumpf has fawned over H1-Bs and we know he outsources as a "good businessman".
