Same-store-sales numbers month after month exhibit systemic failure. No clear direction on regaining consumer confidence. Style and quality are still issues. Employee morale is in an abyss. The stench of human sadness emanates from every corner of the company. Its going to be an interesting peak season to watch for this company.

Once I did bad and that I heard ever. Twice I did good, but that I heard never.
At 9:37AM PST, an authorized S3 team member using an established playbook executed a command which was intended to remove a small number of servers for one of the S3 subsystems that is used by the S3 billing process. Unfortunately, one of the inputs to the command was entered incorrectly and a larger set of servers was removed than intended.
Remember when I was at Gap and these happened all the time? Well now I'm doin it to Amazon! WOOHOO!

One must ask. I hear crickets in the sky.
Company should be sold off to investors that know worms.
The route ahead is a road that ends with a stop sign, I only stay now because our company pays ok and people used to respect the name it once had value in the industry. At my age, if I leave, all I can say is I know about discounting. Wish I had the answer to founding family. Gut check, hire young people and press a less corporate life. Omg
Gap will continue to fail and collapse under the weight of cronyism at the highest levels that extend all the way down to the bottom floor. Crony, yes-men managers hired someone who understands the least about networks to shore up our eCommerce infrastructure. This was the result: http://blog.catchpoint.com/2016/09/14/the-gap-maintenance-error/
It is a sh!t-show that will not end until everyone with a manager title or greater is escorted out of the building. The contractor that caused the outage is still here earning twice what all the other engineers are earning simply because he has a glad hand relationship with senior management.
This kind of "leadership" is killing our once great company.
Old Navy was doing good. The guy that made it good went to RL. Now it is doing just as bad as the rest of the company. Athleta is the only good brand left under Gap. Do they sell winter clothes?
yea I got kicked to to the curb in the last round.
AP is an old guy who wanted to be hip. He forgot about the stores and has done nothing.. Every season was a new style that failed.
I still recall BS e-mails, What the heck happen with this company.
At starbucks right now around the corner from Gap. Just ran into and old friend in IT there. He agrees with the stuff here about them. Gap s---s. I hope we can steal him away into our company.
