Thread regarding Target Corp. layoffs

DC Logistics

I remember when T556 Logistics Team supported Florida through several hurricanes. 556 Kept the target Florida stores open when competitive company stores were closed for a week after the hurricanes hit, They helped support people in need and the Logistics team was a valued part of the DC. Target used to be a company who supported communities through hardships, valued experienced employees and appreciated hard work. Under the new regime at hq that is no longer true. That "non regrettable decision" has cost this company millions. Shame on you hq. This company is no longer a respectable influence on communities. It seems the decisions the ceo is making has only hurt the company. I'm glad I took the severance, but I hate that the target community (including guests) has to suffer from poor judgement.

To be honest, 556 Logistics wasn't making the decision to keep the stores stocked and open during the hurricane. HQ was. Specifically it was the disaster team that is still in place. HQ told 556 that they needed to send water and supplies to affected stores and the Logistics team made it happen. This is still the case but without a Logistics team, this takes place at the HQ level.

I had no choice but to take the severance. They had to have scape goats for their failure with the credit card breach. I haven't spent a dime at Target in nearly 3 years, and never will again. I think Tifton should pull their tax break next time it comes due. The AFA boycott will break them.

"I'm glad I took the severance, but I hate that the target community (including guests) has to suffer from poor judgement." I couldn't have said it better myself. I feel the same about the pharmacy.
